Kpop Star (Early Development) 

Have you ever dreamed of running your own kpop company?

Kpop Star is a cozy yet strategic management simulator where you take the reins as CEO. Inspired by classics like Monthly Idol, this project is being built with love to give you the ultimate experience of scouting, training, and debuting the next global sensation!

I am a big fan of Monthly Idol, but there were always many thing I wish they had. that's  why I decide build this game. Kpop Star is 100% FREE, and it will remain free! 

Development Status & Playtesting:

The game is currently in its Early Development phase. As a solo developer, I need your help! I'm looking for playtesters to try out the mechanics, find bugs, and share their thoughts. There is still many thing i wanna add. 

Current Focus: Testing core management loops, the "Survival Show" system, and weekly NPC reports. The survival show will be avaliable on May in game date, look into the mail to subscribe your trainees. 

AI Disclosure

As a new developer,  I still have a lot to learn, so I do use IU to help build the code,. But the game is my idea. AI tools assisted in debugging and optimizing specific C# scripts. As I am learning,  I am more and more independent from AI now.

Text & Names: Generative AI was used to help brainstorm unique names for NPC groups and message templates to the news and whisper post (Twitter copycat). As a solo developer I can't think about all those phases. About the group name, I am not 100% Satisfied,  some I did think of. I am going to change some later.

Art & Logic: All UI design, character art, and core gameplay logic were created manually by me. As you can see the art isn't the most beautiful,  and im so sorry. It will be better one day.

What’s Coming Next (May Roadmap)

Here is what I’m working on for the next updates:

• Adding the wardrobe at least basic choices.
• More hairstyles and the ability to swap hair/outfits for your idols.
• Updates and visual improvements for the in-game mobile apps.

Others, with no date:

• Another Survival Reality and Player Company Survival.
• New Apps, like a Wiki for NPC informations.
• More options for Offers and Schedules. 
• Clothes with Concept Points.
